4 Words To Remove From Your Vocabulary

by | Aug 15, 2020

Here’s the problem with saying “I’ll do it later.”

If you start your day with the promise, “Today, I’m going to [fill in the blank]” but then you don’t do it, or even worse, don’t do the thing you say you’re going to do repeatedly, you’re setting yourself up for problems.

Here’s why…

Breaking promises is one of the hardest things we can do to ourselves.

Of course there are times when it’s necessary, like if you’re in a situation or operating from a belief system that is truly no longer serving you.

But when you make a promise that you’ll…
-wake up earlier
-stay off of gluten
-write that important email or make the phone call
-leave a bad relationship

and you don’t do it, you’re teaching your mind to believe that you’re not trustworthy.

So be mindful of what you say you will or will not do. Let yourself act with integrity, and your soul’s clarity, purpose, and fulfillment will come flying at you because you’re finally saying “I’m worthy, I’ve got you, I will act as the person who is worthy of this very greatness that wants to move through me.”

What are you struggling with around commitment? Or with connecting to your best self? Let me know, as I’d love to support you and answer your questions.
