We’ve been forcing ourselves for way too long…
Forcing ourselves to eat well.
Look good.
Smash the to-do list.
Find more clients.
Do. The. Thing.
I hear it all the time from creatives:
“I’m not doing enough.”
“I should have more clients by now.”
“I can’t afford to take a break.”
But what if rest isn’t a reward?
One of my mentors taught me that you get to rest just because you decide to. Not because you worked hard enough to “deserve” it.
Beyond that…
There is no right way to do something.
There is no rulebook.
There is no one-size-fits-all formula.
Yet, we push through exhaustion, override our emotions, and ignore the deeper wounds within us.
And when we live this way—so does the world around us.
A world with no foundation.
A world where things fall apart.
A world at war—internally and externally—because we believe there isn’t enough, or we chase power to mask our insecurity.
But here’s the truth:
The way we tend to our inner world reflects how we engage with the outer world.
When we stop forcing and start listening—to our bodies, intuition, and deep motivations—everything shifts.
We can create.
We can rest.
We can work hard when we choose to, not because we have to.
We can use our voices from love, not fear.
This is an extraordinary time in human history—one that demands deep individual and collective healing.
When we learn to trust our internal compass, our Innate Wisdom, we unlock the kind of radical freedom that fuels our art, prosperity, relationships, and deepest creative expression.
What would happen if you let yourself relax—without guilt? Can you give yourself that permission?
