This is the best medicine for struggle

I want to share one of my favorite tools for challenging moments.

Admittedly, it’s not one I always go to, because while it makes sense to do something to get ourselves out of struggle, the attachment can be strong.

If you’ve struggled with things for most of your life…

— whether that’s anxiety, sadness, insecurity, impatience, or frustration –

…it can feel comfortable to stay there.

Not because you like it, but only because it’s familiar.

And we often don’t realize that we’re keeping ourselves stuck.

Studying the Universal Laws in depth over the past 3 years has taught me that when there’s a problem there’s always a solution.

YOU are the SOURCE of the solution when you learn how to make a different, conscious choice… to go from struggle to ease.

It helps to have someone else’s support and guidance at times, so I’m offering this as a short practice you can do this weekend to shift any struggle.

This is such an easy practice that you might think, Michelle isn’t it more complicated than this?

Nope. We just resist doing the thing that could help us get out of struggle.

Try this and adapt it to best suit you. ❤️

1. Make sure you have at least 5 minutes of uninterrupted, private time. (Yup, it’s so short, but it creates a huge shift.)
2. Find your favorite quote (or one that has inspired you recently). Here’s one that’s currently stuck to my laptop…a thought I had recently:

The challenge is not a pushback from the Universe. It’s an INVITATION.

3. Find your favorite song or one that has inspired you recently. (I could go on forever with this one and would love to know what your favorites are in the Comments!)

Borrow this one if you’d like.

4. Read the quote. Play the song. Move and feel into your body in the exact way you want, following the movement that wants to move through you.
5. Lie down and rest or journal for a minute once you’re done. Notice how you feel.

You may feel calmer or ready to rock, or perhaps you realize there’s more movement and processing to do.

But this type of aligned movement has the power to guide you to the next steps/movements you need to release any struggle.
