When you can welcome more NOs in your life, it means you’re more in your YES.
Lemme explain!
I’m intense. I haven’t always liked it or even realized it, because it’s just who I am.
(Nerd time: I have Gate 30 in a big place in my Human Design chart, and it’s all about INTENSITY!)
I used to always channel this into my dancing.
Intensity onstage was my JAM! Focus, perseverance, mastery… all in my Human Design chart too.
As I’ve aged, I’ve had to find other ways to work with this energy.
It’s definitely a work in progress.
In recent years, I haven’t performed as much, and I can’t hide (or shine) that energy onstage.
(I’m not done performing… more on that later.)
It’s actually been forcing me to let my intensity, which is part of my true nature, pervade the rest of my life, rather than just be onstage.
I laugh loud. I can come in with a lot of energy. I coach and guide with… intensity.
I was lamenting (and intensely joking) about this with my Human Design teacher recently… as I headed off to a workshop I’d be doing with about 60 strangers.
Gah! I’m going to be the most intense person in the room! 😫
Without skipping a beat, my teacher said, I hope so!

Not everyone’s going to like it. And that’s perfect. I’m going to get NOs, more and more as I live my truth.
Because I’m not for everyone.
And neither are you.
Once you live this, it can be a huge turning point for your career and relationships.
I’ve worked with a lot of clients like you who are really good at what they do…
But nothing’s moving out the door and the money and opportunities they want aren’t coming in.
And then something shifts… they start sharing their work/art, making more money, avoiding burnout, moving to Paris, or meeting their life partners. (All recent client celebrations!)
They start uncovering and accepting themselves, in our private work or in group coaching.
You are YOU. You are designed to “succeed” simply by being who you are.
This is what I love about the Brilliant Creatives Community.
I do my best (and the community helps…thank you!!) to support everyone in being who they are, where they are, and to evolve in whatever they’re going through.
We learn a lot from each other.
So… my wish for you is that you make sure you have the right community when you need it.
For whatever you’re going through in your life.
Because life is more fun when you are unapologetically YOU!
