Change your Belief Systems, Change Your Life

by | Oct 17, 2017

What would you say if someone asked you to honestly answer the question:

“Are you happy?”

Yes or No

Keep the answer simple, without going into the mind’s attempt to say “Well, I’m alright,” “I’m so so,” “Fine,” or “For the most part yes, except x,y,z…”

Notice how your body feels when you respond honestly to that question. Does it tighten up, twist one way or the other? Does your breathing change? Do you feel free and open? Do you have an answer? Maybe you have different answers for different parts of your life–health, career, relationships, family, spirituality, etc.

Each and every belief system you hold has brought you to this very moment in time, supporting all your strengths and beauty, as well as your weaknesses and challenges.

Your life in this very moment is exactly as you believe it should be!

That’s awesome news for the things in your life that are working. As for the rest, especially in regards to issues that keep repeating, it might be time to take a deeper look at what belief systems are running your life or holding you back.

“Positive thinking” can only take you so far. This is because the belief systems we hold are deep, and many of them are even subconscious.

One of my teachers used to say that our belief systems are like a neon sign we wear above our heads, to which the universe diligently responds.

Exploring your belief systems is a process to be done with gentleness and forgiveness, honesty and courage.

Remember that your belief systems have brought you to this very moment, “good” and “bad.”

Remember that it’s not all about “you!”

Sometimes, we are living out unresolved energies and emotions from our ancestors. Sometimes there is a disconnect in our physiology that just needs some support. (A BodyTalk basic!) Sometimes the very thing we are trying to hold back is our deepest power, our wild self, or the person who can receive from and give to the world abundantly.

When you do the work to help shift your subconscious belief systems, and align your desires with your deepest core truth, the universe comes in to help big time. (Remember that neon sign!)

This process is a dance. It is not always easy and it may not initially end up looking the way you want. However, there is so much life force and power in engaging with that process of growth and change. You might actually be up for some nice surprises!

I hope this weekend you can surround yourself with the people and things that you love–a good first step for any shifts you might want to make in your life.

There’s a little session below to support this process so please read, breathe, and tap it out!

And again if you or someone you know could benefit from this work, please share my info, Book an In-person or Distant Session for yourself, or feel free to send questions!

**Also, please let me know if you would be interested in doing this work in a group context, online or in-person. Working with a group multiplies the power of your own healing and transformation process, and I am in the process of creating more group contexts for healing!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Michelle

P.S. I have a lot of exciting things coming up with my energy healing and BodyTalk work, which will be announced in a few weeks, so be on the lookout!

P.P.S. Get your hands on Dr. Bruce Lipton’s book The Biology of Belief. This was recommended reading in my early BodyTalk training days, and Dr. Lipton continues to share his research and work on how we create our realities through what we believe.

SESSION FOR LETTING GO OF BELIEF SYSTEMS AND EMBRACING POSSIBILITY!!

1. Active Memory, Fear of “not knowing myself”

Hydration

TAP OUT

Tap gently over your head brain, your heart center, and your gut brain (around your navel) as you take deep breaths.

hange is sometimes scary because we have to start to “unknow” ourselves. We can become very identified with what we believe and how that makes our lives currently look. Even if the beliefs are not helping us have better lives, knowing “this is who I am” gives us a sense of security and safety. To grow, we have to change and let ourselves know something different. Hydration will support your body’s connectivity and emotional processing throughout this shift.

2. Cortices!

-TAP OUT-

An old brain-balancing favorite, and hopefully by now, all of you who have seen me for sessions know this technique! My own personal Cortices video is coming soon, but for now check out this PDF or my colleague’s video. Your 3 Brain Complex is ready to download a big shift for yourself!
